South East Asia
This summer’s trip has two great ministries to get your teeth (and hearts) into. We’ll be visiting South East Asia to get the Good News into a country high on the list of the world’s most persecuted nations. As if that’s not challenging enough, we'll also get to minister to people caught up in one of one of the world's modern day genocides. In Thailand, thousands of Burmese refugees are contained in camps along the border. Missionaries are doing all they can to make a difference but the reality is there is lots to do with limited resources. Our ministry here is a mixture of practical work, prayer, teaching and fun with the kids!

At the core of our SE Asia trips is the delivery of Bibles and multimedia presentations of the gospel to countries where production is limited or even non-existent. Often in such places the church is growing quickly and the need for the Word and teaching material is urgent. It can be books, CDs, DVDs, cassettes or even MP3s, but teams need to physically carry it all across borders and travel by various means to a designated area. Sometimes there is a need for research and photography teams to travel in a country gathering information for current and future strategies. Ideally, all teams Prayer Walk as they move and fulfil their assignment. However, the situation demands special prayer teams to travel throughout the lands praying in the harvest and interceding for other concerns. These teams should expect no greater risk than any other tourist travelling in Asia but for media delivery the risk level for some will be high.
