In a nation of 23 million people divided into hundreds of ethnicities its not surprising that many still haven't heard the Gospel. AsiaLink have been partnering with a Nepalese evangelist for a number of years as he faithfully preaches the Good News from the street corners to the hill tops. Distributing tracts and personal evangelism is the main thrust of our work here. In 2009 ten young people from the UK managed to hand out 15,000 Gospels across three regions in central and western Nepal. The trip is physically challenging at times but the rewards for hard work is unreached peoples, Hindus and Buddhists reading and hearing about Jesus for the first time.
